We here at Matouring love the depth and breadth of options that we have for flying in Europe. There are so many convenient airports, no shortage of airlines and, due to the way it works in Europe, generally very low prices.
With that in mind, we’re pleased to see that EasyJet, one of our favourite European carriers, may soon claim London Heathrow as a destination. This is excellent news, as landing in Heathrow and flying elsewhere into Europe with EasyJet will now be super simple.
easyJet CEO Johan Lundgren has suggested that his airline could be considering flights out of London Heathrow Airport. While nothing is confirmed yet, Lundgren refused to rule out the UK hub, citing the importance of flying out of the UK’s biggest airports. easyJet currently only operates out of London’s Gatwick and Luton airports.
