We take for granted these days how good technology is. Between our mobile devices working almost everywhere, to the blistering speed we get nowadays at home as well as outdoors and, even more apparent, the proliferation of digital devices all around the world, we are lucky to be living in such as a world that we do.
One place where technology needs a bit of help from us entitled and sometimes lazy humans, though, is in a place that you might not expect: airplane mode. Most of us assume that – with all of this technological wizardry around us – we can safely leave our phone on when we take off and land in a modern jet liner.
