What (where and who) is St. Julian’s?

Malta is the answer. And it’s a place that many often forget about, which is a huge shame. If you’re not in the know, Malta itself is a beautiful Mediterranean island nation with a rich history, stunning landscapes, and a unique culture that makes it a compelling destination for travelers. And it’s easy to get to from anywhere in Europe.

Malta is home to some of the world’s most ancient and well-preserved historical sites, including the UNESCO World Heritage-listed city of Valletta, the prehistoric temples of Hagar Qim and Mnajdra, and the medieval city of Mdina. These sites offer a glimpse into Malta’s rather amazing past.

From a more relaxing perspective, St Julian’s (San Giljan) is a seaside town that’s known for its thriving nightlife scene and scenic bays. It has a 7-km-long promenade that lets you walk or cycle to several resort towns on the east coast of Malta.

It’s easy to get around in Malta, and English is widely spoken. You’ll love it.

And if you’re not star-struck enough by all of the history and the nature, Malta has been used as a filming location for various movies and TV series, including “Game of Thrones” and “Gladiator.” You can visit some of these iconic locations during your trip.
