As if being in Paris isn’t thrilling enough, unless you live under a rock, you’re probably excited know that Paris will be hosting the Olympics in 2024. So what do you need to do to prepare? The Paris Olympics 2024, officially known as the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad, are scheduled to be held in Paris, France 26 July to 11 August. Various iconic venues and sites in Paris are planned to be used for the different Olympic events. These venues will include both existing facilities and temporary installations. This time, the Olympics are likely to incorporate technological innovations and advancements in various aspects of the Games, such as athlete training, event broadcasting, and fan engagement. They have aimed to use existing infrastructure wherever possible and to integrate sustainability into various aspects of the event: they’re thinking Green, in other words. Most of the Olympic events will be held in the city of Paris and its metropolitan region, including the neighbouring cities of Saint-Denis, Le Bourget, Nanterre, Versailles, and Vaires-sur-Marne.
