We were ready to step into a small and self-absorbed soliloquy about big bad governments fighting with each other, leaving a wake that requires its residents to clean up the mess. It’s true, of course, and sometimes we are just a footstep away from joy or laughter. Pity some parts of Russia, for example. In some locations, rubles and rubies are spread lavishly: you know who they are. In other instances, residents of the same place are the exact opposite. So, when you have a bit of time, sit down and watch the dichotomy unfold before your very eyes. BTW, this is a lovely and thoughtful post, as are the residents.
