El Condor pasa

Here’s a bit of news that should excite anyone who flies. German’s Condor airline has been around for a while and has been somewhat shy in exploring places away from the mother country. But, not anymore. Starting in May 2024, Condor’s new flagship flying our favourite jets, Airbus A330-900neos offering three flights per week from Miami (MIA) to Frankfurt in Germany with convenient connecting services to more than 100 destinations across Europe. Not only is this good news, as good prices will also be part of the Condor package. With this new approach, Condor will also be chasing the tail of Lufthansa’s Eurowings. A little bit of competition isn’t a bad thing, is it?

One this that especially makes us excited is the choice of the The Airbus A330neo, which consumes just one gallon of fuel per 320 miles flown per passenger—a remarkable figure and one of the best in the industry. We are huge Airbus fans. The A330neo aircraft features a business class with full lie-flat seats and four signature Prime Seats with space for two.

In summer 2024, Condor will fly out of 12 U.S. cities to Frankfurk; New York (JFK); Boston (BOS); Baltimore (BWI); Miami (MIA); Seattle (SEA); Portland (PDX); San Francisco (SFO); Los Angeles (LAX) and it will be nice to have new options on the West Coast. And, finally, Minneapolis (MSP), Las Vegas (LAS), Phoenix (PHX) and Anchorage (ANC.) More cities will be added in the coming days and weeks.

More space, larger screen, many additional extras – four Prime Seats in the front row of the A330neo’s Business Class offer guests maximum comfort. What does the best seat on the plane feel like? This video gives you a first insight.
