Doing a 380

What a difference 20 makes. We’re not talking about the doing a roundabout in the changing of a position or stance (although that figures into this story.) We’re not discussing going beyond the beyond. We’re discussing something even more palpable and exciting, and something that we’ve been wishing for for a long time, even though we were sanguine enough to know that it would most likely never happen.

Now, to the point. If you’re a regular on our site, you’ll certainly notice our almost scary love and admiration of the big jumbo jets, the ones that are certainly right up there (pun intended) with the efforts of the Wright Brothers, Howard Hughes and so many more aviation pioneers: The Boeing 747 and the Airbus A380. They were both singular in their aspirations, and were aspirations for so many of us aviation geeks. Alas, the final Boeing 747 rolled off the production line on December 6, 2022. The last the last A380 exited the production line at Toulouse, France on 19 November 2022. It was a truly sad day for many of us. Even more sad is that so many passengers never had the chance to enjoy these mechanical wonders. . . . . until now.

New airline startup, London-based Global Airlines are is doing a 360 in the startup stages by winding back the clock and making the A380 once again an option for fliers who want the best. Even better, the airline has agreed purchase of three more A380s. This is really great news for jet aficionados. Watch the video, below, and keep your eyes peeled for more news as it comes along.

Talk about luxury, this is what the Airbus A380 offers. Read even more about the jets here.

Emirates may fly the A380 again. But you can explore their luxury right now. Click here to book.
