Entry Points: The main entry is through Paro International Airport, renowned for being one of the most challenging, visually guided approaches in the world due to the surrounding 18,000 ft peaks. Airlines: Flights into Paro are operated by the national carriers, Drukair and Bhutan Airlines, and typically connect through hubs like Bangkok, Delhi, Kathmandu, or Singapore. National Dress: Locals can be seen wearing the gho (a knee-length robe for men) and the kira (a long, ankle-length dress for women) as mandated attire for daily work and school.
