We believe that anyone who visits our site is someone who loves to travel. And we’re also pretty sure that you want to see more than the typical travel drivel. Why would you, when the world is full of places that when at first, might seem daunting, soon turn into an experience that is truly, genuinely unforgettable. As an example, one of our fave YouTubers is Yan from Little Chinese Everywhere. We’ve often hailed the wonder of Yan and her German hubby, Flo, whoi are hell-bent on seeing each corner of our beautiful blue planet. They’re almost there.
The thing (and the magic) is the smile. It’s amazing witnessing how much one simple act can do. This episode, in particular, is notable in that Yan and Flo (with their trusty motorcycle) turn simple travel into an almost United Nations event. Watching their vids, you can see how the planet should work, and how we should behave as humans. For example, if you’re in Tajikistan, smiling, asking questions and being as good as you are, you can be in a market, stumble around speaking with the shop owners, and after fumbling, you eventually land on a way of communicating: pointing touching, sampling & eventually, showing the money.
Watch the video above. All of the approaches, techniques and skills are there, ready for you. Be sure to take your phone with Google Translate installed. Practice a bit back at home. Be Brave. Smile a lot. You can do it.

To get from Europe to Tajikistan (likely Dushanbe or Khujand), the best way is flying to Dushanbe (DNH) via hubs like Istanbul, Dubai, or Frankfurt, as direct flights from Europe are limited but connections are good; overland travel involves long, complex routes through Russia or Central Asia, requiring transit visas, so flying is generally recommended for speed and ease.
