If ever there was a city that has universally admired vibes, its Sydney, Australia. It’s a big place and, like most cities, its had its growing pains (there is lots of work going on, infrastructure-wise there) but that never stops the constant, yet chilled buzz of the place, the scenery, the activities and – of course, the people: chipper, honest and life-time friends if you get it right. When your editor used to work for Expedia, I’d periodically visit that faraway (and I do mean faraway) spot and I enjoyed every minute. It’s a long flight from almost anywhere, so prepare yourself and make sure that your holiday is long enough to slow down and see all that the city has to offer, as well as to venture out further, which is just as appealing. There’s a lot to see and do.
As you’ll see in the video below (which actually does a good job of capturing the locations, the sites and the vibes of Sydney) there is no shortage of activities: Sydney Ferries, Manly Beach, Darling Harbour, The Rocks…. the list goes on and on. It’s a hike, but it’s worth it.
