It should come as no surprise that Europe is our favourite place to visit. With so many countries, populated by so many cities, towns and villages, you will run out of air in your lungs before you run out of places to see and things to do.
So, when a mention of an interesting new (to us) place came into our purview recently, we just had to look into it. It’s Chateau de Montigny-le-Gannelon in France. The Château de Montigny le Gannelo is a superb Renaissance castle (1495), in the department south of Eure-et-Loir, bordering Loir and Cher, in the Centre-Val de Loire region. The residence is surrounded by a 15 hectare park. The area is open to the public, guided tours, private room rental for weddings and seminars, works councils and groups are available.
And, even if you’re not on the market for a venue such as that, there is so much more See below.
