Venezuela. . ahh.

We won’t be getting political here. Rather than soak in sour grapes, we’re counting the days until the “very stable genius” departs to a rest home or some other option far far far away, so that humankind can try again to pick up the broken pieces that were all that was left. Never in all our years of being a senior citizen have we seen such chaos as there is (today) May 1, 2026.) One news item that gave us a modicum of hope is that Pilots of American Airlines Flight 3599, operating from Miami International Airport to Caracas, Venezuela, wave Venezuelan and US flags before departing on a nonstop flight to Venezuela.

Once that glorious day comes, relax in that much of the world wants peace, too. Just look at the list of airlines who will be happy to join the event: Major international airlines flying to Venezuela (primarily Caracas – CCS) as of mid-2026 include Copa Airlines, Avianca, Air Europa, Iberia, Turkish Airlines, TAP Air Portugal, and LATAM. American Airlines has resumed service. Regional carriers include Avior Airlines, LASER Airlines, and Plus Ultra. Flights from Canada often involve stops via airlines like Air Canada or Copa. Get your passports ready to snap up those tickets and do your part to bring the world into a proper equilibrium.
