Don’t blink. Depending on where you live, you might be seduced into thinking that you’re at the bleeding edge of technology. That’s probably true in some cases (and some places) but, if you’re not keeping up to date on what is happening around the globe, then you’re probably in for a bit of a shock.
Places like China a huge. 1.412 billion people in 2021, and certainly growing. The USA? 331.9 million. That’s a lot, but it’s a fraction. Logically, then, China needs to be on its toes to service that population. And it is. They’re recently finished creating their own commercial jets, chasing after Boeing and, to a degree, Airbus. Their high-rise cities are legend.
So, here’s another example of where the country is thinking ahead: how to shuttle people around from place to place (and, we might add, safely and without damaging the environment.
In the Guangzhou province, they are already providing autonomous driving buses. Clean, safe and, as you’ll see, not missing a trick when it comes to the technology.
