When we decided to create this post, it was due to the topic. But I thought it was about me! I would imagine that there are thousands of optimistic men in the audience who who proffer at least two responses to this post: extreme sadness, anger or “largess” who cares? Most men and many, many women have attachments to their vehicles, whether it makes sense or not. At the end of the day, our vehicles are just that – something to get us around. Your editor has been a huge car fan until I realised
that driving is no longer a good idea. Luckily, my car of choice (Saab) is no longer in production which makes the decision much easier. Personally, I babied my car for decades, even loading it on a truck and shipping it to a completely different part of the world. But that was then, and this is now: enough about me.
