For those rail fans who have been following the line, most would think that it was somewhat of a has-been in the rail world. But, more and more that’s becoming old news. The company is pumping loads of USD to catch up with the rest of the world. Amtrak just broke ground on a new $1 billion maintenance yard in New York City and announced a nine-day service pause in Washington, D.C. this October.
