We love history, and we love living history even better. And what does that entail? Certainly learning about history is exciting enough, but when you can see it or, in this case, sleep in it, then that’s when things get really exciting. It would ne nice to sleep in Windsor Palace, but that is not likely to happen. Same with the White House, we guess. (We did write and article where you can sleep where Elvis slept (or nearby) but this post is about stepping forward into the past by staying at one of the most gob-smackingly groovy places that we have seen available as a rental.
They’re actually two properties: two homes and one retreat (Starlit Ranch, and Moonlit Retreat). The two locations are less than Half a Mile apart from one another, a quick walk between properties for your group. Combining these two homes will provide you with a total of 13 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms for your guests!
That’s a great start, but it doesn’t even begin to describe what you’ll be experiencing. Set in Borrego Springs, California, USA, this place has all of the panache and swing that you would have seen in your favourite Rat Pack films. You can almost hear Frank Sinatra, singing from the valleys.
Almost too good to be true. Sun, sand, and Mid-Century Modern. Click here to book via VRBO.
Yep, it’s the USA. You’ll need a car. There’s no-one better in the USA than Hertz. Click here to book.
