Let’s get wet

…. responsibly. For many travelers, one of the biggest thrills is being able to visit locales and see animals in their own habitats, unshackled, roaming around as it should be. Elephants, tigers, rare birds – you get the picture. Safaris are a great way of doing that (and we have a number of posts about that – click here. But, there are alternatives to the typical safari commitment, ones where you can experience the joy of being up close and personal with pachyderms without overstaying your welcome. We don’t know about you, but we still get a thrill (just like being a kid again) about being near these beautiful creatures.
