Kangerlussuaq. Been there, done that?

We’re always looking for something new to impress and please you, our lovely readers. Honestly, how many posts can you stomach about NYC or Venice, as lovely as those places are? And if you’re an adventuresome person to begin with, you’re probably already streets ahead of us when it comes to new travel treasures.

But, we think we may have a new one, at least for most of you. You’ll know the name, you might even be able to point to it on a map, but how many of you have actually spent time in Greenland? (We have, but to be honest, it was only because our plane had to land there to refuel. Yes, we’re that old.)

But, why Greenland? There are a load of reasons why. The country is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, featuring vast ice-covered fjords, towering glaciers, majestic icebergs, and rugged mountains. The pristine Arctic wilderness offers unparalleled scenic beauty that is truly awe-inspiring. Greenland provides an authentic Arctic experience like no other. Visitors can witness the midnight sun during summer months, where the sun remains above the horizon for 24 hours a day. In winter, they can witness the magical Northern Lights dancing across the sky. And there are rarely many visitors, which is even better.

Greenland is genuinely a unique Arctic experience: it provides an authentic Arctic adventure like no other. Visitors can witness the midnight sun during summer months, where the sun remains above the horizon for 24 hours a day. In winter, they can bask in the magical Northern Lights, dancing across the sky.

You’ll need to be hardy to visit here, but the bragging rights are undeniable.
