How’s it goin’ eh? Oh, rail good, rail good.

Here’s a timely post, one focused on one of the more popular countries at the moment, and that would be Canada. It’s always been there, for sure, but it’s only been in the past few years where it’s really had its place in the sun (even if there’s snow.) People usually think of the country as Toronto, and maybe Vancouver. But, when newbies catch wind of all of the highlights of Canada, they kind of turn their head, look around and say “wow there’s more than I thought.” And, that’s for sure. Canada’s “distance” can refer to its continental size or its distance from other countries. It is the second-largest country in the world by area, stretching over 4,700 miles ((7,560) km) from east to west. The distance from the United States varies depending on the location, but the border itself is the longest international border in the world at over (8,800) km ((5,525) miles).

Good thing, then, that Canada also has a pretty good rail system, too. There are, of course, the trains that carry goods from West to East and back. There are the local train systems, such as Vancouver’s Skytrain, that shuttle Canadians around daily. But were you aware of the cross-country services that move you in smooth silence and penultimate luxury? Our affiliate partners, Fresh Tracks Canada, have just what you need.

Taking a proper train cross country is something you’ll never forget. Sounds trite, but it’s true. Click here
