Bletchingly, I’d say. Even spiffing, actually. Being British, as we are we tend to like things a certain way. We’re not achingly precious about many things, but some tend to get our backs up if we see that something British is not quite right, or is obviously fake, or simply doesn’t heed some of the “rules” of being British. Key norms include respecting personal space, respecting privacy, and avoiding public emotional displays. But, in many situations, we just throw all of that out the window and have a smashing good night out, anyway.
