From Talca to Constitución

You know our mantra here on our site. We love travel and we love history, and we love it when we can combine the two. And we love it even more when we find hidden treasures around the globe. Even more, it’s always a thrill to be able to highlight history in places that usually don’t bubble up to the “A list” of travel. Those kinds of places are some of the best destinations. Which brings us to this post about Chile, which is a must-see country and is often overlooked. But, digging down deeper into the topic, we recently discovered a small museum in Chile that is devoted to rail, and it’s small, but it’s mighty.

What’s even better is that, similarly, there is an historical train that is a daily runner, and you can be a passenger. It’s the The classic railway from Talca to Constitución. Between these two southern cities, this train route still remains active, known as “Ramal Talca-Constitución.” This traditional form of transportation passes through many towns that are otherwise inaccessible. Constitución is a coastal city in Chile, known for its beautiful beaches, cultural attractions, and natural beauty. is It famous for its beaches. Playa de la Boca and Playa Los Gringos are popular spots for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports like surfing and bodyboarding. Watch the video below and plan your trip to an authentic, relaxed and beautiful part of the world.
