But the tunes, the images and the vibes that we all imagine, would make it seem as if were there riding the waves with Brian and the band. Sadly, No, Brian Wilson, the legendary co-founder and songwriter for The Beach Boys, is not still alive; he passed away in June 2025 at the age of 82, as announced by his family. His death followed a period where he was under conservatorship due to dementia after his wife’s passing.
