Anyone who frequents our site will know of our love of Europe. Depending on how borders are defined, there are between 44 and 50 countries in Europe. The United Nations recognizes 44 sovereign states entirely within the continent, while broader geographical and political definitions include transcontinental countries and disputed territories, bringing the total to about 50. That’s a lot. And then you can whittle them down to the bare necessities.

We’re confident that many of you have been to Prague: surely one of the most diverse and beautiful cities in mother Europe. It’s no surprise that some places have their ups and downs, but ironically more than are needed are the downs of annoying goofball tourists. Whether they are sincere, or lost or, even worse “influencers” they can leave a trail. Prague is subject to this kind of behaviour, even after many decades of being “in the Soviet shadows.” So, your editor and “the boss” recently discovered Janek, the jolly, funny and erudite young chap who shows you how to get around the city (and beyond) laughing all the way.
