A sailor went to see see Sea (palace)

We love discovering new and, often, spectacular places. And, as we have been writing on this site over the past couple of years, there are so many of them to see see see. And the one we showcase here is a goody! The Mazzaro Sea Palace in Taormina, Sicily looks like a scene from one of your favourite Marcello Mastroianni films. They don’t make them like this anymore. But this one is real, and is even more sumptuous than the pictures portray. Mazzarò Sea Palace is set above Taormina’s beautiful Mazzaarò Beach. It has a wellness center, its own sea-view pools and a free private beach.

Mazzarò Sea Palace’s wellness center provides a wide range of massages and spa treatments and has Turkish baths. Rooms have been refurbished and are elegant and spacious. All come with balconies and some have lovely views. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Go ahead, book for one month’s stay.

Rather than blather on and on (like most blogs) about how our best friend Milbert once went to Sicily and stepped on a conch shell and got rabies, but then lost his keys in the sand and had to be helicoptered to the local Army base, we’ll just leave you with spectacular photos of this slice of heaven.
