America is a big place, with wide open spaces and curiosities around every every corner. Those corners can be a long way away from each other, and the curiosities can be even further.
Alaska is the 49th and largest state in the USA. Separated from the rest of the country, (the “lower 48”), by Canada, Alaska lies on the Arctic Circle.
It is still the least densely populated state in the union and for a long time was home to the lowest population. There is no shortage of space if that’s what you want.
