Dammit, JANET

Before you launch into song, this has nothing to do with Rocky Horror or any kind of musicals, as good as they are. This is about as far-removed as you can get when it comes to that. No, this post is once again digging into technology, especially the tech of the USA of A, who are famous / not famous for their military and all of its equipment. We can’t talk about most of it, mostly because we don’t know much about it. But, having said that, this would be a pretty dry post if there wasn’t something to grab your attention. So . . attention! Close your curtains. Unplug / silence your phones, don’t answer the door as you uncover the Secret Airline of Area 51. According to those in the know (who probably can’t tell you) according to Britannica.com have an article about the secret / not secret Area 51  U.S. Air Force military installation located at Groom Lake in southern Nevada. Not so secret in that you can drive up to the main entrance. Tread lightly.

It is administered by Edwards Air Force Base in southern California. The installation has been the focus of way too many conspiracies involving extraterrestrial life, though its only confirmed use is as a flight testing facility.  Sure…. Area 51, a highly classified U.S. military facility located in the Nevada desert, has long been the subject of speculation and conspiracy theories. The secrecy surrounding the base, combined with its connection to classified military aircraft and experimental technology, has fueled various mysteries and speculations. So is this one of the endless parade of alien hoax theories, or the real thing? One this is for sure: we trust the source here, pilot Petter Hörnfeldt (better known as MentourPilot on Youtube) knows his airborne stuff and we trust him . . certainly more than we trust the US government.

Viator can show you around Area 51 (sort of.) Click here to book your tour.

A camper will certainly come in handy for this adventure. AutoEurope has them. Click here.
