Quiz: how much do you know about Wisconsin, USA?
The honest answer is “probably not much.” It’s one of those states “in the middle” of the country that has always had a low profile, except for periodic victories in American football or baseball.
It is big on dairy farming, cheesemaking, ethnic festivals, polka and the badgers.
But, it also features several well-known breweries: Miller Brewing, Pabst Brewing, Jacob Leinenkugel. And that is what we are here to discuss now. Milwaukee is Wisconsin’s biggest city and, thus, naturally has the largest selection of breweries and pubs in the state. Many of them are historic, harkening back to the turn of the twentieth century.
