For many of us, religion is not a big thing in our lives. We might reference it during the holidays, or where other instances suggest we do, but this is kind of rare. But what about Nuns in this day and age? Religious people become nuns as a way to dedicate their entire lives to God or a higher spiritual purpose. This decision is often referred to as a vocation or a calling, a deep-seated feeling that they are being called to a life of full-time devotion. The choice to become a nun is not a rejection of the world, but a way to live within it in a manner that allows for a deeper spiritual connection. Those of you drawn to this way of life, see above.
