“Wedgies” in your future

Puerile joke now out of the way, let us kind of get the joke as we discuss a topic that your editor never would end up on our site, let alone become a topic on other travel compendiums, as well. Here we thank Gary Leff, owner of the always funny and very useful View from The Wing. Gary not only scours the internet for travel deals, but he also has an equally reliable following who bring not only new and relevant travel content, they also find some of the strangest and baffling stories as well.

Here’s an example. It’s a thing now to marvel at what once was an everyday occurrence for most of us older folks: Self-Wedging Doors. Remember these? Gary notes:

Remember these? Gary notes: American Airlines power outlets have been much more reliable that past few years, but I used to be careful to carry a British outlet adapter in my laptop bag. It gripped the seat power outlets better so my laptop power cord wouldn’t fall out just enough to stop charging. We European travelers lived and breathed by them. They still have a purpose. Huzzah!
