With an almost insatiable appetite to see what the world is up to, we eat up all of what it puts out. Mmmm. Well, if you’re one of those insatiable travelers who will go gonzo at almost anything – It could be trains and planes like us – or it could be more of a relaxed and thoughtful path. We like it all. So, as if by magic, an unusual relaxed and thoughtful path has recently shone its stuff before us and filled us with joy.
Bergen built the world’s greatest bicycle tunnel and I visited! Check it out in my latest video on YouTube! Unfortunately we can’t have infrastructure like this. Well, for decades, the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden) regularly rank highly in global indices related to health, well-being, social progress, and environmental sustainability. So it’s natural that they will create a public thoroughfare, and then put the icing on the cake with fantastic lights and dazzlers. This is something almost everyone can do. Give it a go!
