Tsitsikamma?

We tend to have a bit of fun with the titles of our posts. Why not? Life is short. Enjoy it. But this post excuses itself by the sheer interest of what it is and where it is. We’re pretty sure that it’s a question mark to many, but it’s definitely worth the time and effort to learn more and perhaps, even visit. Tsitsikamma National Park, part of the larger Garden Route National Park in South Africa, is a stunning coastal reserve renowned for its dramatic landscapes, lush indigenous forests, and thrilling adventure activities. It’s a must-see for nature lovers and thrill-seekers alike.

One of the biggest draws must be The Iconic Storms River Mouth Suspension Bridge: This is arguably the most famous feature of the park. A relatively easy and scenic boardwalk trail (about 2km return) leads you through the coastal forest to a series of three suspension bridges, the longest spanning 77 meters across the Storms River Mouth. Standing on the bridge, swaying gently above where the river meets the Indian Ocean, offers breathtaking views of the rugged coastline, crashing waves, and the deep gorge. It’s an exhilarating experience with fantastic photo opportunities.
