The Mitre’s location, the hotel itself and the surrounding area will enchant you. It is one of greater London’s jewels.
We know Hampton Court and East Molesey very well. In addition to Hampton Court (where you can easily spend an entire day or more,) you can find beautiful paths along the River Thames, to the right of the palace entrance. Try walking there early in the morning when the bunnies and birds are there to greet you.
Across the bridge will take you Hampton Court Bridge road, where there are dozens of appetizing restaurants – especially the Indian eateries just up the street. (see the map, above.)
On the same side of the road as Hampton Court is Hampton Court Train Station. You can get to London from here, but the service is less frequent than other stations in that area.
