The Chippings?

As is our wont (and our lineage,) we like like to highlight what’s happening now on social media; YouTube is the place to be when it comes to that. The best part is when a new post bubbles up to the top and appears in your list of suggestions. The video that we have here is quite a good one, because if England (and perhaps even English) confuses you, this one is a doozey when it comes to English, the language. It’s funny, too.

To cut a long story short, this post is about all of the places in England that have the name Chipping. There are a lot, and a lot more.

But don’t worry, the calm and gently funny Alex in Great Britain will guide you through the maze of Chippings: tread lightly. If you’re feeling some trepidation about tripping through the Chippings, put them aside. You may even enjoy this enough to hire a car and jump from Chipping to Chipping.

And, as we always say, (and we can always say it because it will always be) these parts of the UK are truly beautiful and worthy of a long & languid drive. Why not start in Chipping Norton? To find your ride click here

Can you see yourself tootling around tight hedgerows & high-speed motorways? We can. Click here
