There are so many wonderful family-run hotels and inns around the world. You’ll do well to stay there, rather than anonymous hotels.
We’re featuring The Barachois Inn here for a number of reasons, but one particularly caught our eye: you know that a place means what it says about its values when it endeavours to restore a 130-year-old grand piano. Most places would assign it to the local dump.
The inn is an historic Acadian settlement c.1763 with the rolling landscape touching the sea, Farmers’ Bank of Rustico, National Historic Site, PEI National Park,Cavendish White sand beaches, Anne of Green Gables nearby.
Even if you’ve visited Canada, chances are that you haven’t been to PEI . . and maybe it’s time that you did.
