As much as we love the UK, it does rain a lot. 800 mm to 1,400 mm per year, on average. We guess that this fact should be plainly obvious, especially since the UK is in the North Sea and surrounded by cold, cold water. But one benefit of this arrangement is the absolutely glorious spring, summer and – for the most part – autumns. The green villages and mountains are absolutely fluorescent. And need we mention all of the history that seeps into every aspect of the UK?
But, wouldn’t it be nice if you could visit London Bridge whenever you’d like and not have to prepare by taking your wellies and rain gear? Well, lo and behold you can. Where? Well, naturally . . . in Arizona. Whaaaa? you might be saying? But, it’s true. London Bridge is a bridge in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, United States. When it was built in the 1830s, it spanned the River Thames in London, England. In 1968, the bridge was purchased from the City of London by Robert P. McCulloch. (Wikipedia)
