Even though it’s kind of a verboten pleasure nowadays, humans sure like to use our automobiles, despite the climate crisis. Here in Vancouver are we fortunate enough to have good train services, but they only go so far, no comparison to the rail country-wide services we had when we lived in the UK.
You kind of get spoiled. The UK rail network has approximately 10,072 miles (16,209 km) of route in Great Britain and 189 route miles (303 route km) in Northern Ireland.
You don’t really need a vehicle there. But, we humans love our cars, especially the lovable rogues at Top Gear. In the rather old video below, the cast member try to see how far they can go on one tank of gas. What makes it even more interesting is their selection of vehicles. Can you do better?
So, you may be asking why is this here and why would you want to watch it? Firstly, it’s pretty funny. It also shows what you can do if you’re a miserly driver.
