Dublin Airport received over 12,200 noise complaints from a single person in 2021, which totals nine out of ten of all complaints received by the airport: that’s over 90% of all complaints. The aggravated individual lobbed 12,272 complaints at the airport over the year, which equals an average of 34 complaints per day.
The same agrieved person lodged 6,227 complaints in 2020, less than 50% of their 2021 total, despite Dublin Airport’s flight activities only going up by around 10% in 2021 compared to the previous year.
