Nice, nice, Ferry nice.

Sometimes, it’s hard to look past the end your nose, even if it’s right in front of you. Here’s an example. We are based in Vancouver. It’s a nice enough place, but one of its shining attributes is the abundance of water. (let’s not talk about how much it rains, though.) This part of the world is blessed with lots and lots of water. Naturally, you would expect that hoards of residents all have boats to get from island to island. True to a point, but it can be a long hike. So, nobody’s fools, Canada has been taking advantage of ferries for decades. The services are abundant and good, if a bit pricey. Something to be proud of, for sure.

Being tardy as we are about this combo topic (Vancouver and ferries,) we thought that you history and ferry buffs might like to learn more about the endeavor. They’re a nice day out, we have to say. (Another fun fact – the ferries are built in Poland and Germany, but some are even from Vietnam!) When you’re next here, try it.
