Don’t fret, It’s Malahat, young Skywalker. It’s not a headache. It’s fun.
We humans have a tendency to build something out of nothing. Maybe it’s just a way of trying to put our own personal stamp on what can be a cold and impersonal planet. Or maybe we are just perpetually bored. So, when you live deep in the woods of Vancouver island, there really isn’t a whole lot to do, unless you’re a lumberjack. So what is the solution? You make something out of nothing. And in this case, the nothing is really something.
Welcome to Malahat, and specifically, Malahat SkyWalk. This unique adventure offers the ultimate Island experience where explorers of all ages can enjoy breathtaking views and adventure, high among the trees and surrounded by the sea. So what do you get?
From the first steps through the breezeway of the Welcome Center, to the top of the tower, and back to the cafe and retail shop, the entire Malahat SkyWalk experience will take you about 2.2 km or 1.4 mi through treetop canopies and lush forests.
