It’s funny how some people see things differently than others, especially when those people come from a new city or country. Their perspective is often fresh and surprising to “the locals.” So, when you get a glance at what you see before you, it’s like a brand new day. Your tired view of your daily, mundane life awakens you and what was once boring, is now intriguing.

And nothing can better demonstrate this than the feature video, below. Japanese rail enthusiast Kuga, who we share a lot on our site, left Japan to visit Chicago, USA. He is a guy who takes his time to stop, look and savour. He’s big on small details and his wry observations are always a giggle. And this video is no exception. He’s managed to find a new way to see things about the Chicago L Trains. From the street, they look like any transit system in the world. But, lift yourself up a few stories and it becomes another thing entirely.
