Here is another example of your editor fooling around and ruining his SEO (search engine optimization) statistics, but I can’t help myself. I run this site for pleasure, throwing in a little history, a smidgen of humour, and hopefully some enjoyment for you. I make a little money, but I do it for fun. Since we publish every day, we’re always looking for something new – for us and for you. We try to make the locations and the suggestions real and realistic. We have thousands of posts for you to enjoy, and we hope that you do. (Please click on links when you see them: we might make a few dollars here or there.)
So, to the matter at hand. We live in British Columbia which, as you may know is full of trees and full of water. Which means that your chances of finding something fun to do are pretty good, especially if you’re an outdoors person. If you will, please indulge us, then, when we feature a rather lovely little place that is about 90 minutes outside of Vancouver city, where you can hop into a car and easily arrive there. It’s called Cultus Lake and it makes a nice day-trip.
Yes, it has water, trees and unlimited fresh air – use as much as you like. But, what makes it different from other destinations and parks is that it has a complete amusement park. Roller coasters and everything. You’ll love it and so will the kids. And how does fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, hiking, swimming sound? Located only 11 kilometers south of the Chilliwack River, it is the gem of the Fraser Valley. Hop on Highway 1 in Vancouver and you’re there in about 90 minutes. The scent of the forest is almost enough to make you want to go.
