Aren’t we fortunate that we don’t need to worry about gravity when we’re altitudes between 30,000 and 40,000 feet (9,144 to 12,192 meters) above sea level. Commercial jets typically cruise at those speeds and we barely sense a bump. My always-inquisitive father once balanced a coin on its edge and it readily obeyed and accompanied him without tipping over for the rest of the flight.
