. . . make it this one. Out of nowhere (for us, anyway) as we were selecting topics for our latest posts, the video below automagically appeared. Thanks YouTube (in this case) for this rather fascinating and, in other ways, mind-blowing chateau in France. And if you love everything “history” this is your one-stop shop.
Say hello (and pull up a seat) for Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune. Do you like planes? Do you like classic automobiles? Do you like fine wines? Well, this place has it all. To cut a long story short, Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune is a working winery.
The original owner did very well when it came to creating and selling fine wines, and so he took the spoils and diverted them into other fine comestibles: jets, planes, classic Abarth cars, furniture, rugs . . . you get the idea.
The current owner, Christophe Pont, has wisely made this almost overwhelming feast available for the public. Plan on a long day when you decide to visit: this is a tech geek’s dream, and a tech geek’s partner’s dream, as well. Sit back, watch the video and plan your trip.
