Hairy Crabs? Who’s that?

Anyway, to the point – have you ever heard of Hairy Crabs, let alone tried them? It’s a new one on us, but apparently very popular in Asia. The picture above gives you a taste, albeit virtual. And, yes the crabs are indeed hairy. The Chinese mitten crab, also known as the Shanghai hairy crab, is a medium-sized burrowing crab that is named for its furry claws, which resemble mittens.
