We write a lot about Google, as they do lots of things, and most of it is free – which is nice for travel bloggers. We’re big fans.
Here, Google is adding more tools to make it easier for consumers to understand and choose eco-friendly options when they book travel. Tuesday the company launched train bookings in Google Search, currently only for Germany, Spain, Italy and Japan but with more markets – and bus bookings – coming soon. And Google has added new filters so users can limit hotel results to those with eco-certifications and flight results to those that have emissions lower than average.
