Go back, in time
When you think about it – especially if you travel often – it feels like the process of boarding an airplane is rarely seamless and rarely enjoyable. To be fair, it is a complex process when you consider the logistics that the airlines need to factor in. And, of course, there is always the “performance variability” of we humans as we juggle our bags, our boarding passes and ourselves.
It will come as no surprise that airlines think about this a lot, as late planes can create a huge hole in their schedules and profits.
