. . . Northern style. We are intrepid people. We’d need to be if we wanted to run a travel website. But, above and different from some of the other sites online, we actually visit the places that we write about or suggest. We do our level best to tell it like it is, warts and all.
Happily, we don’t encounter many warts and, instead discover how wonderful the world can be. And this happens all over the dozens of countries we’ve set foot in and with all of the wonderful humans around the planet. As you might guess, this post is about North Korea, a place we are really looking forward to one day soon. One thing we’ve learned in our readings and the videos that we see is that people, for the most part are singularly delightful. On the top of our list is North Korea/
So, when Youtube puts forth a video about this intriguing country, we’re there. This brings us to this episode, created by a rather nice British chap, “Mike Okay.” He’s open-minded, honest and says what’s on his mind, which is what you always want when you’re dealing with Youtube. Unlike many of today’s Youtube celebrities, what you see is what you get with Mike. Watch his video. He’s indicated that there more be more to come.
Now, to the main topic, when you watch this episode you will likely be surprised and pleased with the interactions. Friendly people from both sides, lots of smiling, lots of laughing and the occasional raised eyebrow. If you’re toying with the idea of a North Korean holiday, use Mike as a template on how to behave.
