This post is, simply put, a loving tribute to a group of people who have created an application that has numerous business-relations functions, but is also for dorks (like our Editor) who love everything about planes and flying. And since many of us have not been able to fly for a year or more due to Covid-19, the vicarious thrill is even better.
We’re talking about the forever-fun Flightradar24.
Their site states “Flightradar24 started as a hobby project in 2006 when two Swedish aviation geeks decided to build a network of ADS-B receivers in Northern and Central Europe.
