We’re confident that anyone who wants to travel will always want First Class tickets. But, in the decades gone by, even business professionals couldn’t plump the cash for the standard cost of a regular flight, let alone first class airline tickets. At the time, they were sky high (no pun intended.) Fare on these high-end fares have lowered in recent years, however, leading to a more feasible way to enjoy longer flights. Today, you can find amazing deals on first class tickets and get affordable prices for the same seats. For example, flights to Australia can go for over $4,999. That’s not within the reach of everyone. So, we have an option where you might find some solace. Take a walk around a Boeing 747 for free. This is a plane that has been grounded and disabled as far as flight goes. Even aircraft deserve retirement. It’s a shame that if will never fly again, but at least you can take pictures of you and your friends in First Class. You can virtually wander around in it as if you own in it.
The location of this retired bird is obscured, and the adventurers who have found their way in are respectful and do not damage this magnificent beast: you can tell by the way they knowledgably and carefully discuss the plane, all the while with the appropriate reverence: they’re talking about specific attributes of the control panel, which shows that they’re not vandals. Having flown in a 747 in the 1990’s, your editor feels just the same way. And, as you’ll see at 5:05, you can even “experience” the first class beds just like I did. A once in a lifetime experience. If you want to return back to the real world, you might be happy to know that Air China, Korean Air, Lufthansa, Asiana Airlines, and Saudia all still fly 747’s at least into 2024 and maybe beyond.
