One thing on this earth that is certain, is that people in Asia (Korea in this case) are playful. They love something new. They adore fresh chances to have a good time. And what’s nice is that most of it costs next to nothing and, even better, everyone is welcome. Say hello to the Haeundae Beach Train, Haeundae Sky Capsule & Busan Green Railway. These little, but mighty, vehicles are attractions located in Haeundae Blueline Park in Busan, South Korea. The park redeveloped the old Donghae Nambu Railway Line into a scenic coastal park.

The retro-style, colorful capsule that travels along a 2.3-kilometer elevated railway, 7-10 meters above the ground. The ride offers panoramic views of the Busan coastline and lasts about 30 minutes one way. The capsules accommodate up to 4 passengers. The Sky Capsule travels between Mipo Station and Cheongsapo Station.

There is also the Busan Green Railway: This is a 4.8-kilometer coastal walking trail that runs alongside the former Donghae Nambu Railway Line. It allows visitors to enjoy the coastal scenery at their own pace and offers views of the Haeundae Beach Train and Sky Capsule. The Green Railway connects Mipo Station, Dalmaji Tunnel, Cheongsapo, and Songjeong Station. It’s a wooden decked path that is popular for walking and taking photos. If you want to get away from the crowds and step back in time, as it were, this is your thing.
